Best way to install latest driver s for ATI card.

I have just dl the 7.11,I have the 7.10,

Whats the best way to remove the old ones before installing these

I just uninstall the old ones using add/remove programs, but if you want to be sure everything is gone download ATI driver cleaner. To be honest I’ve installed them over the top of old drivers before and its been fine though so I don’t know if it’s really that important anyway.

By the way there is some serious problems with the 7.11 drivers and Quake Wars at the moment if you happen to play that.

Add/remove the old set reboot and install new, you could boot into safe mode (F8) and run driver cleaner to go the whole hog after removing the one set
