1/ do a system recovery of my xpmce2005 on my old HDD clone it to my new HDD and then install vista
2/ just do a clean install of vista on my new HDD
3/ any other option that i dont know about which lets face it what i dont know could fill a book

I don't understand what your first option means - and in the future, please use punctuation! Your post is very difficult to read.

The best way of installing is to do a clean install, and doing so on your new hard drive seems like an ideal way to do this. If your old disk is attached and has a Windows installation on it then the Vista installer should automatically add it as a boot option.

yeah sorry about that,i posted that about 5 mins before i went to sleep.
thats whay i was worried about, wether or not vista would be able to recognise xp on my old HDD,thank you
