Ok when i moved into my home, couldnt figure out why phone was not working when BT said it was all turned on.
Found out that the house had 2 lines to it (no 1 said a THING about it!) and the line BT Enabled was the line that was used as the 0800 net connection of the owners before.
After having the most heated convo's with BT to change the line FOC and them not agreeing (cant get anything but BT, live in colder sake)i just cut the other line and used some snap connecters to join it to the live 1.
Problems is just recently my ADSL is all over the place and am 99.9 sure its something to do with the join. I have had a look on the net but i cant seem to find the little clear white plastic things BT use to join 2 wires.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
p.s i found this on a US site but cant find anywhere in UK that sells
