Best way to learn a language from scratch?

Thats one way to fail your degree very quickly. Especially if you have no experience or just basic experience of the language. If your spannish on the other hand...
 
Just thought id comment as well, swedish doesnt seem to be a really hard language to learn, which is always good

My main problem atm is pronounciation, the fact that 7 is Sju, and pronounced completely different to how i would bodge it in English if i didnt know how to say it properly :p

Most complicated thing i can say so far is 77777, but that probably sounds so wrong.. xD

As long as you pronounce Björn Borg and Björk properly, you're well on your way :p

Trust me, i'll have better luck in Spanish than with 3 physics modules...

im going to be taking the very beginners course, i'm ok at languages...hopefully this is my ticket to a 2:1, but im not counting my eggs dont worry

Talking about Sju, "Sju sjösjuka sjömän sköttes av sjuttisju sköna sjuksköterskor på det sjunkande skeppet". Will always come in handy. :p
 
Yeah, ill drop that in a conversation tonight and see how it goes.

I have no idea what it means, but hey - neither will she, the way i'd pronounce them ;)
