Whats the best way to clean both glossy and matt LCD screens?
Ive heard you should not use alcohol or window cleaner etc. Generally ive used baby wetwipes followed by a bit of kitchen roll or loo roll and it doesnt do a bad job but tougher smudges and smears its not so good at.

Whats the solution guys and gals ??? !!! :)

I think using a foam based cleaner especially for LCD's is the common method people use but i'm not certain!

Klear Screen + microfibre cloth...

+ 1

Use the same myself, great stuff. Or at a pinch, water and kitchen roll will do a ok job. Make sure to turn the screen off, let it cool for a few minutes and don't apply any pressure on single points, just use the palm of your hand and you'll be fine.

I moved my pc into a different room and noticed the screens were thilthy. I bought some screen cleaners out of ****** electronics (tube and you pull the wet wipes out the top)

Got to say they are no good and left as many marks as they removed, took ages to get the screens looking good.

So don't buy these

Fellowes surface wipes (which funnily enough leave less streaks then the fellowes screen cleaning wipes) and before it dries I use a microfibre cloth to polish the surface while wet until it is dry, before streaks can arise.

@ sxndy i think you used those screen wipes alone without the microfibre cloth treatment right after, they do leave horrible streaks. Works well for me, im a perfectionist when it comes to screen cleaning.

ive got a lot of finger prints on my screen etc and it buidling up to a point that simply cleaning it isnt rly an issue unless its to add more to the finger marks =[
any suggestions

I use camera lens cleaner (contains a mix of water + isopropanol) which works fantastic on my screens. Brand is "Digital" and came free at some stage in some cleaning bundle.
