Best way to make my 4870x2 run cooler ?

Hi my Powercolor 4870x2 is on its way to me but from reading around it seems like these things run hot!

Do you loose your warranty if you put a different fan on it ?

If so should I just buy a powerful fan and stick it over it ?

There are no aftermarket coolers available at the moment, although Arctic Cooling has one due out in the next few months.

Best bet is to set up some fan profiles with varying speed for different temperatures.

Try putting you fan speed up.

Turn the fan speed up. The fan is really great on these things!

I have one for desktop use at 35% and one for gaming at 45%. Work like a charm!
