best way to monitor core temp & fan speeds etc

Was just wondering what are the best apps to monitor cpu temp & fan speeds are?

Was also hoping to get some cooling tips for the case and spec in my sig, as my room gets extremely hot, especially in warmer weather, so I want to keep my rig as cool as possible. Its approximately 40C idle at the moment.

fan speed is about 2100-2200rpm is that enough?

Anyway to reduce the noise from the pc??

Yea i think thats enough, mine is 2377.

I dont know about making it quieter apart from buying a new cooler thats known for low noise.

Well my rpm is now 2850

Cpu temp 29
MB Temp 35

This is idle

Isnt the rpm a bit high???

Ive got a e6600 o/ced to 3.3 and im using a arctic freezer 7 with a asus p5k as the mainboard. My fan is audible but hardly noisy and im running at 2587rpm with temps of around 27 on idle.
