Best way to normalize sound

Hi

I have transferred mp3s to my phone to listen to but the volume constantly goes up and down from song to song

I have run the trough a normalize free software but still the same.

Is there an easy free way to do this?

I think I'd use foobar2000 to edit the metadata in the mp3's, according to reference song database, or your personal choice,
and then use a compatible android player that will use the metadata/tags.
