Hi,
I do Youtube game play commentary's from time to time and I often find that the rendering of the project can be a bit slow.

What i want to know is whats the best way to overclock for rendering my projects. Do i need a higher BCLK or should i only adjust the multiplier?

I have a sandybridge i7 2700k on an Asus p8Z77-V motherboard

Just stick with upping the multi on SB, you have so little to play with on the BCLK it's not worth doing tbh. Rendering times would be reduced with more Mhz, easiest way is with the multi.

What program do you render your videos with as well? I use Premiere - H.264 1920x1080, VBR 2pass 16-15mbs. A 10 min video would take about 7-8mins to render. How slow are we actually talking though?

Aw ok thanks well I'm using Camtasia Studio at 1920x1080 H.246 set to auto and high quality and audio bitrate at 128Kbps.

My most recent project was 35mins long and it took just about 45-50 mins to render. Is that slow? it's kina slow to me but then again I do regularly make lets-plays that are about 20-30 mins long :)

Never used Camtasia studio, not sure how well it uses the CPU truth be told.
When i used to render out 30+ mins videos, i used Vegas 11 and needed my CPU (3770k) at 4.8Ghz to render the video out in 30 mins (providing nothing was added, just gameplay and sound) 45 mins isn't too slow imho.

Okey well I may look to try and use another program as Ii did notice at some points it would only be utilising 50% of the CPU even at high priority. Ok well thanks I think i will bump up the multiplier meybe to 4.6 or 4.7 but that's my max speed on my air cooling set up I recon. :)
