Looked in a few places but can't get a definate anwser, does it make a difference if I overclock on the multiplier rather than the fsb?

Also what's the best program to turn my CPU up? I have speedfan but can't quite work it out :)

There's no FSB on 1156 mobos. There is a Baseclock (bclk) though, which affects your CPU , memory, QPI and CPU-NB clocks. This basically means increasing BCLK improves overall performance of the system. You should normally get higher clocks with higher multi rather than bclk but it's not always the case. To get the most out of your hardware, you would aim for the 200 bclk and the highest multiplier you can get away with.

What cooler are you using? The stock one?

freezer pro 7 rev 2.
Managed to get it to 3.2 Ghz, Bus speed 160.2 x20. Seems to run ok in games and plan on doing a prime 95 test overnight/when i'm at work tomorrow. I'm just slightly worried about temps did a short 2 hour test last night and it was reaching 69 - 71 deg. is this normal?

Is Load Line Calibration on? If so, it is normal temperature. What speed is the Freezer's fan running at? Have you changed any SMART fan control settings in BIOS?

Did you have to tweak voltages any further? Run IBT to check if your overclock is stable. 20 loops of 2560MB custom stress mode. What voltages have you set in BIOS?
