Best Way to Record PC Gameplay

Most will say FRAPS but I say try DxTory. Used to be al ong time FRAPS user but it feels like a child's toy compared to FRAPS. It also runs significantly better and has a lot more customization options.

Yeah use Lagarith - http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html.

Loads of tutorials on Youtube but ot be honest it's not that hard to sort out, mess around with it and see what suits you.

as for being rude i was just having a little giggle but in all seriousness if you going to upload videos regular you need a decent upload speed.

It's not because Youtuber's its because of the Feature rich Dxtory is. Having the option to record multi Audio device's or change the Video codec frame rate or resolution is what makes Dxtory very popular.

Fraps is very basic and there stock codec is very bad performance wise.
