I had video files on a disk which started to show faults so I transferred them to a new drive, however there are a few .mp4 files which play absolutely fine which will not copy in explorer due to a "disk error".
What is the best way to recover these seemingly intact files?
Obviously I could play them and record the output but that's a bit of a pain. There has to be a better way? I've tried photorec but it seems to try and recover deleted files which I don't want to do.
