So I go to swap over the stock heatsink to a nice quiet one and wouldn't you know it - the last screw to come out of the gfx card is made of playdoh and rings.

How do I get it out, bare in mind this is a piece of electronic equipment? Thought about dremeling the head lightly to score a line and then going at it with a flat head screw driver, but would this be a little risky with metal filings enjoying themselves all over the pcb?

Nuke it from orbit!

Or, what if you covered the surrounding areas with something to stop the filings coming into contact with the board? Even kitchen roll would do the job.
