Best way to repaint my fence

Hi All

I have about 50-60metres of fencing around my garden. It is now about 10 years old, and is starting to fade, and also go green at the margins.

I want to paint it, as our neighbours have done, but within months the green moss/algae has started to penetrate through. I was thinking of using a cuprinol product to paint.

So my questions are :

1 ) What is the best way to get rid of the moss/algae ? Pressure wash or use a specialist moss/algae remover, or both ?

2 ) What is the best fence paint to use ?
