Best way to sell a code without getting scammed on eBay?

Hi, I have a limited edition Sea of Thieves Xbox One controller that has an expensive unused DLC code with it. How can I minimise the risk of getting ripped off for the DLC code?

I'm selling the code and controller together to it's within the rules of eBay.

I'm guessing he wants to sell at a profit which isn't allowed in the MM.

Yeah the code is worth £250~ and controller about £100~. And I bought the controller for £75 five years ago.

The only trouble with in-person pickup is that I live in a very rural area and I doubt I'd find a buyer!
