Hi Guys

Had my 360 about 6 months now, hardly ever use it and was wondering the best way to set it up on my 28 CRT Tele. Is there any settings i can tweak in
console settings because at the moment its rubbish :)

Want a LCD but at the moment funds say no ;)

Cheers

Sam

Apart from making sure you are using RGB scart (assuming the TV has not better connections) I doubt there is much you can do to improve it.

What is 'rubbish' about it though?

It just looks terrible , PGR3 is blurry and im sure when i first got my xbox it was a lot better

sigh

360 still looks ace on RGB scart.

This is incorrect!!

I took my 360 round to my dads and played on his non hd 36" CRT using component connections (which should be very similar quality to RGB scart) and it looked awful in PGR3.

It does however make me happy in my pants at 1080i on my 28" crt, especially with GoW.

I normally use VGA on my monitor but when I have to use the TV then its just connected with the lead that came with the XBox and I dont think it looks all that bad really, still looks good to me, in fact would say PES6 looks better than it does via VGA for some reason

the 360 DOES look bad on old sets. my old CRT looked dreadful, most of the experience was wasted.

in terms of how you can improve it, i doubt you can.

I originally had my 360 hooked up to a 32" SDTV and it did indeed look great through an RGB cable, which is a 10x improvement over the standard composite.

No it's not.

Looks good on my parent's standard 28" CRT tv using RGB Scart. Obviously not as good as HD but still very good.

Composite looks utter crap though, which I imagine is what most people on SD TVs are using.

I think it depends on the tele you've got it hooked up to mate, as mine still looks pretty darn good through RGB on an SDTV.

It was a Tosh picture frame, so not a bad tv, but the size of it is probably what does it.

What has that got to do with RGB scart?

Anyway, it looks pretty sweet on my SD CRT with scart and component. Component edging as better but I know the component connections on my TV are good.
