best way to store lenses please?

I've read that using an airtight see through container with some gel sachets etc is ok.
could you experienced guys please suggest a reasonably cheap solution.

It's all about humidity.

But in your camera bag is fine, if you live in somewhere with high humidity then you'll need one of those cabinets, my cousin has.
