hi,

can i have soem advice please?

what is the best way to stream netflix from a mac to a samsung TV?

i have been told of two options, apple TV and HDMI cable. should i also look at wireless USB adapters for the TV? are these any good?

are there any other options available?

thx

If you have an Apple TV you don't even need a Mac, it has the netflix app built in.

If you have an Apple TV and Mountain Lion on your mac you can wirelessly screenshare directly to your TV, both audio and video. I tried it out for the first time last night and it works brilliantly on HD content.

HDMI direct from laptop to TV would probably be cheapest, thunderbolt to HDMI perhaps?

Not sure about other options.

Apple TV; you can stream any videos you have in your iTunes library over your network and Airplay mirroring lets you use any streaming video you have on your mac- iPlayer, Sky Go, Lovefilm etc etc.

Other options aren't nearly as neat; there are such things as wireless hdmi (expensive, generally only 720p and very limited range), but really you'd be looking at running cables.
