OK. I've used the Crucial Memory Scanner. It's linked me to some RAM.
Is it as simple as now chucking in an additional 2x2GB?

Thats a good link Feek. I also needed that to remind me how to upgrade my 2008 Mac Pro as I also want to go from 6GB to 10GB. The first time I upgraded 2 years ago I did not read any instructions and the new ram could not be seen. Logically you would think that you need to split the pair onto each board, but no 
Defo get it from elsewhere as it's cheaper.
However when I upgraded the RAM in mine at the start of the year, I remember reading a lot about it and how you get better performance if you match all the RAM as the same or something.
ie:
1GB - 1GB
1GB - 1GB
1GB - 1GB
1GB - 1GB
2GB - 2GB
2GB - 2GB
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure it was something like that, which is why I went for smaller sticks, to match what I already had, rather than getting really big ones.
