Best way to use QNAP nas to backup files from fileserver?

Hi guys.

Looking to use some space on my NAS to backup a fileserver on the same local network. Firstly is this as simple as installing qsync on the server and uploading all the files etc? I would like this to be scheduled too. I.e once a night then once a week for example?

2) Backup to share using appropriate software
