ive just installed vista(and im loving it) on my new 150gb raptor so ive got a spare 74gb raptor that im gonna sell. before i do i wanna wipe all the data off it.
whats the best way/program to use to do this? (free :))

it's funny how people get all suspicious about people wanting to get rid of their data - if I was selling a hard drive, I wouldn't want it to be pretty easy for anyone nosey enough to recover all the data and look through my family photos or schoolwork or whatever.

Kitchen roll and methylated spirits (Dont use soapy water or jif (cif?) as it will leave a residue and make the disc unuseable). You can use mr muscle oven cleaner if you want the files permanently gone, but remember to wear gloves and use a lint free cloth so as not to damage the disc.
