Best way you recommend to go about doing my overclock ?

Hi tomorrow I will be installing a new Abit IP35-Pro board + Q6600 Go and some Team Xtreme ram 1000Mhz. The thing is I no how to overclock but not sure whats the best way to go about it.

Any way I am a rookie when it comes to overclocking so i ws hoping to get some advice about the best way to go about increasing my PC to find the best stable CPU speed.

So first off all I should disable all fancy bios options like speedspectrum or what ever its called etc.

Set my ram at its default speed.

now is it best to just leave the FSB and CPU voltage on Auto or should I try and guess a voltage ?

any help is appreciated from you guys who can overclock with your eyes closed

Cant give you much advice except dont guess the voltages

have you tried searching the forums m8? all i can say is dont increase volatge for the hell of it.. only when needed.
