never had a webcam before, but i want to make sure it can work on linux even though i will use it on windows 7 (out of the box with no arseing around or crippled feature set on resolution or FPS / audio)
must be able to capture 720p @ 30 frames as a minimum and be small enough to sit on a monitor frame.
£50 is my MAX budget but id prefer towards £40 given that on linux all of the trendy effects and funny features wont be possible (im assuming) due to lack of opensource webcam manufacturer software
