Best Webcam <£40

Looked at the OCUK stock and did the usual review sites but as usual theres a lot of mixed views.

Using it on a PC, for Skype and Photos.

So OCUK community, Any experience or advice?

Microsoft Lifecam Cinema. Works well with msn and skype with good driver support.

I know i am slow getting to this thread but am just needing a new webcam and after a quick search of already posted threads here I thought i'd jump in this one instead of starting another new one..

I'm interested in this microsoft webcam but i have read and seen videos on youtube that have said this lifecam has problems regarding FPS and people not getting 30fps but more like15fps.
Has there been an update that has addressed this?

I'd also appreciate any links to sites that have GOOD up-to-date reviews on webcams as most i have come accross using google are reviews for the best around several years ago!! :mad:

Googles top results really can suck sometimes.

Hi, same as defunkt here. Looking for a good quality webcam for skype to the gf as I'm moving to london and will only see her at weekends. Both of the ones here look good but are there any better deals around? Somewhere around £50 or less would be good. Also if anyone finds a link to a good review website let me know too :)

its a great little webcam and can be had for about 28 quid.

but yeah you get crap fps at max resolution and HD, still works like a charm on msn/skype etc. if you want to make HD videos you'll have to buy a video camera. ^^
