Best what's app client for iPad?

Morning all,

Since I got my new iPad the other day I've been messing around with it, downloading apps etc

I now need to get a decent what's app client on it but can't seem to find what the best one would be - I googled but didn't really get an answer - so what is the best app/ web app to use on an iPad?

I tried one but the notifications never work.

I just downloaded the official one, well I think official, and it works fine. Just annoying ads.

There's no official WhatsApp iPad app.

WhatsApp isn't officially supported on the iPad. I wouldn't trust a third party app with my WhatsApp details.

Apparently you can use whatsapp web on the iPad.

It's on of the apps I miss the most especially with multitasking coming. It's annoying being able to reply to texts but needing to grab my phone to do whatsapp. Even the watch can reply to whatsapp messages.

Been a while since I tried but you should be able to install the official iPhone App on your iPad, under AppStore on iPad change settings from iPad only to both.
