Looking for a good quality ADSL router from OcUK with the highest gain possible on the WiFi. I need it to give me the best possible signal over a large house with thick walls.

Cheers. No budget at the moment. However, keeping it reasonable would be nice.

I would heartily recommend the ASUS RT-N56U.

First time I've ever seen OcUK selling a product for a tenner more than the high street. Strange!!

Looks extremely nice with some lovely features. I'll pass on the recommendation as it's for a friend. Upgrading from a standard shipped free five year old talk talk thing.

Reasons I like the Asus RT-N56U:

1) It's FAST (check smallnetbuilder.com) for benchmarks
2) Wi-Fi range is excellent (and it is concurrent dual band 2.4/5Ghz)
3) 4x Gigabit ethernet ports
4) It's black!
5) It has USB (with ability to share your external USB disk over FTP remotely)
6) Slick interface

Reasons I don't like Asus RT-N56U:

1) NO modem
2) Port forwarding is called "Virtual Server" and seems a bit flaky!
