As title really, is there such thing as a wireless gaming mouse these days? I remember a few years ago wired was still the only option

Cheers

Sam

DO you think in the real world i would notice any difference between that and a wired model ?

Sam

I've used a relatively cheap Microsoft Wireless 4000 for everything, including a wide range of games, for a few years now. I love the freedom of the wireless and I have never experienced any lag/latency caused by the mouse. You're talking like, fractions of a millisecond behind - not at all noticeable in my opinion. I'm sure many people would disagree though. I'm looking to upgrade to a R.A.T. 9 fairly soon so I have no plans to go wired!

As for reccomendations, I don't know as I have only ever used a very select few mice. I'd say anything by Logitech/Razer would be pretty solid.

i use a g700 and to me the only difrence between wired and wireless modes is the small anount of resistance in movement when wired.

I have a sidewinder x8 which I picked up cheap off ebay. Personally I find it works really well and haven't noticed any lag when gaming. I really like the magnetic charging cable design as well. The ergonomics probably wouldnt be for everyone though.

Other than that there are a few around but most of them are very expensive and probably not worth the money, have a look at some reviews and see what you think.

I'm also using a sidewinder x8 I like it although I wish the scroll wheel felt more positive.

The charging system is great (no hunting for a cable the charger sits on your desk) and only needs charging every three days or so with heavy use. It takes 1x AA rechargable battery, no proprietary nonsense.

Not all the buttons can be programmed, the dpi buttons are just dpi buttons and the button that opens the driver software can't do anything else.

4000 dpi which doesn't match the latest mice but I couldn't handle more than 2000 dpi personally.
