So I was looking to buy a pair of wireless headphones this xmas and had my sights set on the Bose QC35, however thought I'd ask to see if anyone had any other recommendations at the £300 mark price range?

I am quite keen on them having noise cancelling technology and a good enough lasting battery.

Thanks

If I was going to spend that type of money on a wireless headset I'd go for the Sennheiser Momentum 2. They have very good noise cancelling - they're a bit over the £300 mark but they're probably the best you can buy.

The noise cancelling really does work and the sound quality is about as good as you can expect using wireless..

Cheers fellas, it's gonna be either the Sony or Sennheiser I think, but a package is under the Christmas tree which looks like it could be a pair of wireless headphones, so I will wait until Christmas day to see what fate lies ahead :).

The new king is apparently the Sony MDR-1000X but to make the absolute most of them you also need the new top of the line Sony DAP as it's the only device that supports the new bluetooth codec, which provides 4x the bandwidth of normal bluetooth.

Agreed, they aren't cheap but are excellent sounding with great noise cancelling.

Also agree with this and bought the Sennheisers over Bose.

However a few things worth noting:

The Bose noise cancelling is significantly more effective that on the momentum wireless.

In a silent environment the Sennheiser noise cancelling makes a minor hissing sound. Not noticeable while out and about but audible when there is a low sound floor.

The Bose headphones fold up smaller and are easier to travel with.

The Bluetooth signal on the momentums can be slightly flakey depending on the environment they are used in (even on the revised edition).

The Bose are significantly cheaper.

Overall though the Sennheisers sound significantly better and that was the defining factor for me.

I have the P7 Wireless. I really love them. If you buy direct you have a 60 day trial.

What sound signature would you say they have?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, think I'll head into store and have a listen of all the suggestions and take a viewpoint from there.

I picked up the Sony ones for my sister. I've listened to them and the Bose and I would say I preferred the Sony. They have a nice warm sound signature which is to my liking.
I don't have any detailed notes as they were both about a 60 second listen.

Smooth and detailed with ample bass. The highs are not shrill at all. Build quality is mighty impressive
