Im looking for a new wireless mouse as the inbuilt battery in my mx1000 is no longer holding the charge like it should and it seems you can't replace it without great effort.

I mainly use it for photoshop and working at home with a bit of FPS gaming in there too.

I've seen the latest logitech mx revolution and it looks bonkers, is it any good? Is there anything else I should be considering? I just dislike cables as they get in the way :)

I've got the MX revolution.
I got it when it was about £60 its now about £42...
My battery used to last over 1 week. but now after 1.5 years of use I need to charge it every TWO days.
Shocking.

I was advised to get batteries replaced by a member... I just can't be arsed to be honest.

I think I want that new air mouse...

EDIT:
I rate this mouse 7/10

Cons:
1, poor battery life, (after the famous charging error, funnily enough)
2, other wireless items interfering with MX mouse,
3, glitches sometimes for example; I click my "customized" button once to up the volume. Then for some strange reason the volume goes all the way to maximum. Annoying when speakers are on loud.
4, does not work on woodgrain table or magazines. (Logitech advertised it saying it works on all surfaces. In the end I was forced to purchase a mouse pad)

This is my mouse review, others may disagree. Maybe I have a dodgy one. Who knows.

I've got an MX Revolution, had it over a year, absolutely love it. Best used with UberOptions so that you can program any of the numerous buttons to do anything you want to. Not had the battery problems the previous poster mentioned, but then again, I just put it on the stand when I shut down my PC each night, so I've never had it go flat on me.

Where can I get uber options?
I noticed someone once mentioned another program like that for this mouse.... I forgot what its called now..... do you know which one I'm talking about, or maybe it is this Uberoptions .....

MX revolution is pretty damned nice :P, can't think of anything better unless you use it for gaming (apparently higher DPI is better in games)
