Hi

Could anyone reccomend a excellent wireless router for gaming?

I am using the BT HomeHub at the moment and I'm sick of its random disconnects to update itself.

Money isnt an object, but it must be stable, well supported and compatible with all modern and future games! It must also be compatible with XP and Vista 32bit..

Any suggestions welcome..

TBH i've had a posative experience with the Billion 7xxx series stuff for adsl (it's budget but stable/supported/updated and has QOS). However I always find myself going back to something like smoothwall/ipcop on an old PC simply because it works superbly. Then again it's far from a drop in one box device and can take a bit of work to assemble the perfect hardware but you can farm out the wireless to a dedicated AP.

I recently bought a Netgear DG834N. I am currently playing BF2, 2142 and ETQW. Depending on the server I have a ping from 20-60 and so far have had no random dropouts. This was a concern for me too but its been money well spent and relatively easy to set up.
