Best Worms Game

Hi guys,

Haven't played any of them for years but I've felt an urge recently for massive comical, cartoon destruction so it's back on the cards.

What's the best Worms game for PC? There looks to be loads of them around these days and I haven't played any since Armageddon!

I play Worms: Clan Wars a fair bit, since its the newest one available and supports inviting through steam etc (unsure if others can do this).

Armageddon its the only one that has decent roping in and good custom map support and where you can play shopper mode with mates.

New ones have rubbish roping and i doubt you can make city maps in it either.

Yes Armageddon is really good, but i have a newer version Worms Revolution on Steam that is pretty similar to Armageddon but improved and active online players

Can't go wrong with any of those mentioned, also worms reloaded is great, as is worms crazy golf

over gamed, it really isnt like armageddon, roping in all modern worms games suck compared to arma. If roping isnt ur thing then yeah get a modern one but for the best game its arma.

I had spent so many hours on World Party. The re mastering is just windows vista/7/8/10 support and widescreen support. Which is fine by me (well it would be if it wasn't £15!)

Worms 2 was always my favourite but heard great things about Armageddon.

It peaked at Armageddon but World Party is fairly decent too (better in some ways but missing 1-2 things that you do miss from Armageddon) - nothing since I've found that inspiring.

Definately agree with armageddon/ world party.
severely awesome games that provided me with hours of entetainment, so many people messing up and comitting suicide. For me its the ultimate ROFL game.
