best x 48 board

Neither of those in my opinion. The DFI LT X48-TR2 is £175 and is a better all-rounder than those two. BUT! If you don't need a board right now there are some more X48 boards coming and they'll be cheaper and better again.

Go for the Gigabyte GA-X48-DS5 is a good board. I just saw the DFI Lanparty LT X48 T2R Motherboard on EBAY for sale and the seller has only had it for a week, so it can't be that good.

no point i see of x48 why not buy x38 same thing just few more stuff in bios crack asus maximus x38 formula and u will get rampage formula

have you read as to why hes selling ?

all mobo's have good and bad points but to judge it because someone is selling is wrong.

Fair comment,:) but I was just expressing my opinion. I did read why he was selling it but it made me wonder why he didn't send it back to the retailer or etailer within the 28 days return policy? Unfortunately, people do judge when they see sellers like this on Ebay. :)

he says he lapped the PWM & NB heat sinks so his warranty will be void

For such an expensive board and large heatsink they sure did use some cheap push pins for the mount. The tips of the pins are very easy to break.
