best xbox 360 controller

As per title; what's peoples opinions on the best controller out there?

I generally use the official one, but looking for a new pad ahead of a busy months gaming!

Must be wireless. Any recommendations?

I had the razor pad but it didn't compare to the official ms one.

Got the BF3 Razor pad aswell. Love the bottoms, but i always go back to my MS one.

pretty straight forward then!

Just find that the official MS one doesn't last as long. The left thumbstick especially seems to wear out in terms of the grip on top and the centering of the thumb stick.

You can't go wrong with the official controllers, go and treat yourself to a lovely chrome one...

You cant really bead the official MS one to be fair, I have tried a bunch and its been consistently the best one.

I do have a Razer Onza Tournament Edition, the general feel of it is good though not as good as the MS one as its a little light for my liking. The D-pad is *far* better on it though, so use it for GoW3 as I get sick of pulling out a smoke grenade instead of my gnasher.

I saw that in the shop around 6 months or so back. They have redesigned it, so that it pops out giving a better d-pad, rather than a full circle.

The silver one wouldn't match my black elite though!

Custom modded XBOX 360 controllers are the best. Leds, extra vibration, personalised thumb sticks etc. Look into them. Although I'd say the original XBOX 360 MS controller is good/awesome too. It's dull though; that is why I'd suggest a custom modded controller.

It's not about looking at the controller though. Controllers are about feel and accuracy, rather than LED lights.

I have the silver one with the changing dpad with kontrol freak extensions. Originally bought when MW2 came out but been using them for everything since.

I can only compare MW2 with a before and after but my accuracy went up 5% once i had gotten used to them.

My accuracy on battlelog is 20.7 over all. 25% on the AN94 (1500 kills) and 22.58% on the L85A2 (1500 kills).
