Best XL-ATX Case for ssd's setup?

The TTL video was overly flamboyant due to political reasons, he did that video to make a point with Antec. But I won't go into the details, anyway the quality of the case in his video was engineered to make it seem poor. Granted the case does have a few flaws, but with a little modification you can achieve a better build geared towards lots of space and good watercooling, like my build.

Just as a further note not for one minute do I discredit your build you have done a great job there.

Just for me Antec cases have recently been a generation or two behind the likes of NZXT, Corsair and Phanteks

Shock horror! TTL is so far in Corsair's pocket he'd exaggerate the flaws in a competitor product? I am aghast.

Don't worry I appreciate this and take this into consideration when watching anything with Corsair, Asus in etc.

All I can say is, I have owned numerous cases from Antec, NZXT, Bit Fenix, Silverstone and the 750D from Corsair I have now is by far the best in nearly every department.

Those cases are exactly what I mean. The SSDs line up nicely leaving room for some nice air flow.

The problem for me and this is purely subjective "one man's beauty, is another man's ugliness" and all that. I wish other manufactures would follow suit so that other cases that I find more aesthetically appealing where available.

Does the Corsair Obsidian 900D also have these fittings? I cannot tell, then again with so much space at the bottom it's not necessarily needed

I agree good looking cases are subjective.

The 900D is an older case and does not come with the SSD mounts some people have also said that the build quality is lacking in places too with the 900D.

Could you give us some examples of cases you like?

Forgot to ask with the Corsair Obsidian 750D and an E-ATX / XL-ATX board is there enough space at the top for a 360 Fan/rad? I ask as the 750D is not listed in the E-ATX / XL-ATX section at OCUK.

As far as I know yes, as you can see from my system the motherboard cannot go any higher up so you will be able to get thinner rad in push pull at the top of the case no problem an AIO would fit perfectly. An E-ATX and XL-ATX will be longer at the bottom and towards the right of the motherboard tray (as you look at it). There is more than enough space in both areas to accommodate both motherboards.

Just a further note as per my picture I have an AMD 7990 which is a huge card and one of the biggest on the market and you will struggle to find one longer, so that might put some perspective into how generous the space is in the 750D.

I did not realise the 750D was newer than the 900D. I assumed it was the other way around.

The cases I like are as minimal as possible (Some might argue boring). "Less is more" for me. No bells & Whistles just a nice simple case with clean edges.
I have always purchased Lian-Li in the past and like caselabs products. Have not seen a Lian-Li that does what we are talking about except possibly cases like the the PC-100 (with some major modification) which I tried, but it did not work for my set up.

I am going to take a closer look at the 750D.

It is a fantastic case you will not be disappointed check out some of the video reviews on youtube.

This one goes into a lot of details around motherboard sizes and space for watercooling/fan/aio options.

i have the Antec 900 v1 case at mo. I am seriously considering a new bigger case but wasn't thinking of the 1900. I am leaning towards the 1200, if I can still get one. is the Corsair 750D worth it over the 1200 ? my Antec 900 is getting crowded inside. 2x 2tb WD Black, 3x 256gb ssds, pci-e 256gb, LG Blu-ray writer. Would I be able to have a big 200mm/or bigger out-take fan in the top?
