Best young driver insurance company

They're all different for everyone mate - there's no such thing as an insurance company that's good for all young drivers. A company which someone on here found amazing might turn out to give you your worst quote.

That said, Admiral, Tesco, Norwich Union Direct and Elephant seem to be good-ish for young drivers semi-generally.

There's a bit list of insurers in the sticky at the top of the forum too btw :)

Unless its a remap - have you heard what elephant (basically same co) quoted nickxx for a remap of over 10% increase in power?

Yup, but I asked them for a quote for a 530i Sport inc stainless exhuast, 18" wheels, lowering and a 10% increase ECU remap (to 248bhp)...

£1200 comp. At 22.

They go bonkers if its more than a 10% remap, though.

Admiral win and they dont mind mods either.

they definetly don't win in my books i just got an online quote of 2.5k for a 2001 Corsa SXI 1.2I 16V, i darn't try the Focus 1.6, i could maybe get a better quote if i ring up, ahh well ill keep looking thanks guys

Going with online quotes I found Admiral and Bell the best for me (20 with 0NCB). Actually I think Admiral and Bell are pretty much the same, exactly the same online questions, just different web page colour!! Quotes were like 3 quid apart too.
