Alright guys, prob a few silly questions but i have no idea how cable works. Ok well ive been on a few isp's , sky, aol and bethere who i just left. Cable/fibre optic has never been available in my area but it is now. So i signed up for Bt infinity fibre optic. Its getting installed next tuesday. My question is how does it work, with regards to installation. Do they remove the main socket and replace with a new one? i belive they fit some kind of box on the outside of my house but not sure. Ive always have connection problems with my main socket so i hope it gets changed and the engineer finds whatever the problem is.
Well they said ill get 32mb download and 10mb upload. Big jump for me from, 11 and 1.5. If anyone knows how installation works can you let me know thanks.
