Right, I've just checked their website and noticed on the front page its advertised for 12 months terms, now i am 99% sure 8 months ago when i signed up, all you needed to do was give 3 months notice.

I have never been informed off this etc? Isn't this a breach of contract?

You'll have been notified in some way, ie letter or email.

I don't think that changing their terms on a website is enough notification. Then again it could just be for new contracts, with existing ones keeping the 3 month term.

they offer 3 or 12 month contracts on the pro/unlimited packages. for the 3 month package, you pay for activation and a higher monthly fee.

it's unlikely they've changed your contract without notifying you.

i remember reading the small print, all it requires is 3 months notice, one reason i went with them. Now on the website its states that price for a 12 month contract, and for a 3 month contract an even higher price.

100% sure ive never received a letter or e-mail. I'll email to confirm to see if im still on the 3 month notice. They seem to update there website with news rather than anything else.

Also there packages seem to have changed, I get unlimited downloads 24Mb Download and 1.3 upload. With 1 static IP for £17.50, that only seems to be in the pro package now ><

What about excessive network usage?

If it’s felt that any Be member’s Internet activities are so excessive that other members are detrimentally affected, Be may give the member generating the excessive web traffic a written warning (by email or otherwise). In extreme circumstances, should the levels of activity not immediately decrease after the warning, Be may terminate that member’s services.
Any fair usage never used to excist also -_-

They have a 9 Month Contract now same prices as the 12 Month. Shame the 9 Month contract is new as that would have suited me better than the 12 Month I signed up for when I joined them a week or so ago, oh well...

When I was with BE 2 years ago, they had a FUP. Nothing new here.

As for 12 month contracts, they will offer the short term ones at the old prices.
