Bethesda games launcher

Does anyone know if it's possible to pause a game download and shut your PC down (STEAM manages this OK). It's just that I've just downloaded a fair bit of Wolfenstein Young Blood, paused the download and shut my PC down, to check this. And it appears to have started the download from the start again! WTF!!

It's just that I'm only on an ADSL connection (no fibre out here) and it takes some 9 hours to download this game and the single hiccup and it starts from scratch.

Any help appreciated.

It might look like it's started again but from.memory it's just checking through which files you have downloaded already to get back to where you left it.

I know that's definitely how STEAM works. But booted up the PC this morning, kicked off the Bethesda launcher and it very much looks like the download has started from the beginning again! EEK!

Hmmm, I might be confusing it with when I reinstalled windows and already had the game directory previously Downloaded

Think I had to start a new download, pause it, exit and then move the folder back.

When I restarted the download in the Bethesda launcher it found all the files.
