And another studio gets hacked should start making bets who the next studio is :D

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/06/13/bethesda-hacked-details-about-to-be-leaked/

this is kinda funny though
They explain that they’ve had access to the Bethesda data for a couple of months, but seem to be waiting for a couple more details before they release it all. And then comes the threat just a few minutes ago that if Bethesda gives “everyone more info on Skyrim and we’ll keep the user database to ourselves. However we are going to embarrass you anyway. :DThen they push their teasing one step further suggesting, “Bethesda, add an official LulzSec top hat to Skyrim and we’ll remove your admin configurations from our incoming leak. Deal?”

i bet its crytek next, then EA (again?) then xbox live, then thq, then ubisoft (Again?) then capcom and not forgetting nintendo!!!!
This is my guess ;) not that i hate them. i just think it will happen in that specific order.

Unlikely - before they get to thq on that list most of them would be looking at a decade in jail.

They're about as funny as an enema.

They think they are cool, everyone else with a brain thinks they're penis's.

Probably good time for game companies to beef up and test their security :p

Most definatly. The amount of hacks in the last few months is insane, wonder how all this has happened? Maybe they all use simliar server software which has a unknown security hole?!?

well a few of them have been shown to have very very poor security, and seemingly survived purely because no one has bothered.

I fully support the Lulz, their twitter feed is hilarious :)

Highlighting the shocking and almost criminal lack of security that all of these companies have is fine by me. The companies deserve all the get and at least LulzSec seem to have a little bit of eHonor

I'd be surprised if they're using the exact same set-up but I would also be surprised if they're crafting different attack methods for each organisation. There must be some thread of commonality that they're exploiting. Maybe they do just all have naff security? :/

have they released any of the customers data etc?

If you can get into RSA and steal their cryptography secrets and Comodo for their SSL certificates then you can pretty much get anywhere.

The rumour is that there is the possibility of a rogue company within Comodo's supply chain that exists solely for the purpose of issuing counterfeit certificates.

The simple fact however, is that it doesn't matter how many billion of pounds you throw at locking your system down, the IMF hack shown that all it takes is one dodgy USB stick that has been used on a compromised home computer and bobs your uncle... in other words, user education is just as important as all those expensive three letter acronym laden security devices.
