Hi
I'm thinking of upgrading from a P4-D @ 3G to a quad core processor. My current processor is showing it's age...
So the Q6600 (£145.69 inc VAT) looks a good deal at the moment , but should I stretch for a Q9450 (£234.99 inc VAT)? Would the extra 90 quid see me better for futureproofness?
Also as a small side question, any suggestions for a suitable mobo for the be good. I was thinking a Asus Maximus Formula Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard or a Abit IX38 QuadGT Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard as it's on offer this week!
Regards
Chris
