what ways cani improve my speed ie another router seperate networking card?

anything really apart from the crap that they say over the helplines ie do you have filters in do you have aphone line

You should be able to decrease latency your end unless you equpment really sucks (ie me to my wired router is >1ms)

Most if not all of it will be on the ISP's (and maybe?) BT network only way you can decrease this is by getting another isp
