Been using google apps to host my domain email for the last year or so, even had IMAP setup but hated the idea of using labels as I prefer to use folders.
Anyway about a month ago I migrated over to using my web host register1.net to host my emails as they also provided IMAP, I had 2 email accounts setup one with my personal name and the other for my business.
I had apple mail and my iphone setup to access both accounts and then about 2 weeks ago I started having issues accessing my mail server. Having contacted register1.net they advised that due to too many mail requests coming from my ip address the register1.net servers thought I was sending out spam and added my ip address to the spam block list.
I was told the threshold for new email requests was 2 per min
I've seen hosted exchange 2007 services for £5.99 per email address per month but this is too expensive for me, at most I wouldn't mind paying £30 per year.
