The wireless adapter in my netbook is quite poor, there are combinations of WPA, WPA2, AES and TKIP that it just won't do.
Never used to be a problem, but now Ubuntu is using over simplified network tools that don't let you force it to use WPA1 and TKIP (which does work), I can't get on many networks. Anyone know how I can beat up or replace NetworkManager?
