I currently have a 7970 outputting to my 120Hz Monitor (sig) via DP and 60Hz lounge TV via HDMI. I have set the Monitor to duplicate its display to the TV in CCC. While it sort of works it's a bit of a pain! In order to get a full screen display on the TV I have to turn the monitor on then the TV, boot up PC and turn monitor off. I also have to select volume playback device (TV or Monitor) every time I switch displays.

CCC also tells me it's outputting 100Hz to my 60Hz TV although my TV itself reports a 60Hz Signal.

Is there a neater solution? I would love to be able to switch on either the Monitor or TV then boot up the PC and have it displaying properly with the correct sound playback device with no input from me. I don't even care about having 120Hz on the Monitor and would happily accept 60Hz for compatibility but can't even find a way of setting the Monitor to output 60Hz only :(

Any Ideas?

Thanks
