better than 6600GT

Hi chaps, it's time for me to make another upgrade in the GFX department and want to do it before my AGP choice gets too limited.

Current setup is

3.2 Northy 800FSB
1 gig in Dual Mode
Abit IS7-E m/b
6600GT running @ 500 / 1000

Important ... I'm not wanting to upgrade my cpu, m/b etc to pci-e versions yet so I need some advice on which GFX card currently available on OCUK would give me a decent noticable improvement.

I'm not a "latest games" freak ... so the typical games I play are:

HL2 + extras
FS9
Links03

But I fancy trying COD2 and FSX when it appears.

What is your budget here? I don't think you can much improve on your 6600gt if buying new for less than £100. If it must be new then look at the 6800gs or 7800gs but if you are happy to buy secondhand then go for a 6800gt or X800XT or similar which will cost £100 or slightly less and you should be able to sell your 6600gt for ~£50 which will offset the cost nicely.

If you can sell your old card to offset the cost, then the AGP 7600GT is the one to go for.
My AGP 6600GT (Inno 3d) went for £59 last week on a well known auction site.
