better than iceQ

Um, why not just send it back for replacement... you obviously were just unlucky and got a duff card, the IceQ's are great.

i tried to send it back but OC said it was working fine but my comp still doesn't work :S and my comp has now been at a workshop for 2 weeks and they have said it was the graphics. OC dont want it back because it doesnt work. SO can anyone tell me what i can get for about £60 - £70?

What are the rest of your specs then?

OcUK will have no problems at all replacing it if it's not working, leaving me to believe something else is suspect.

i have:-
Abit IP43 Intel P43 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.20GHz (800FSB)
Akasa Ultra Quiet 500W Paxpower Active PFC ATX2.2 PSU
Samsung Spinpoint F1 320 GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
OCZ 2GB PC2-6400C4 Dual channel Platinum evision 2XTC Series DDr2

I thought it was compatability issues or a faulty stick of ram but the problems still persist (BSOD and constant resarting).

I was under th impression they would replace it to, but they won't! Said it passed over 200 lopps of Crysis enchmark and furmark.

They won't replace it if it's working, to which it looks like it is.

have you got a different GFX card you could put in to test?

Are you running the memory at the rated voltage and speed?

Any overclocking?

What 0x error are you getting from the BSOD?

Have you tried memtest to confirm it's not the memory / CPU?

As above; have you tried different drivers, or cleanly installing them?

Wait, so you brought it as a complete system (ie ready built) ... could be that the ram has been unseated during transport.

no, they all came separate. Could it be Vista 64 that is the problem?

Wouldn't have thought so, the drivers from ATI and Nvidia are both okay in vista 64. A quick google search also turned up no real reports of problems between this card and vista 64.

Have you tried a couple of different sets of drivers? 8.9, 8.10, 8.11 etc?

BSOD is usually a memory issue, though drivers, motherboard and CPU can also be up to naughty things :p

I would suggest underclocking the memory/running one stick and then underclocking the CPU (not both at the same time) and see if that helps. If not try a safe mode boot.
