The only monitir that fits my needs is the RoC Swift. But, that price. Damn.
I got an AOC g-Sync 144Hz 24" and had to set up an RMA as the viewing angles/colour and general size were too much of a downscale. I had an UltraWide Dell (2569x1080p @ 60hz IPS). The 144hz and G-Sync however were great! It's just. I could literally see the colour variance even when sat in front of it, browsing the web etc was pretty harsh. Compared to my IPS which felt much more gentle and natural. However... There are no G-Sync 144hz IPS displays :/
No other 1440ps with 144hz that I can find either. 0 that also have G-Sync. Basically the Asus is *it*.
So. Is the RoC Swift worth it? Does the price reflect the quality, or just the fact it's the only one available so suck it up? It's a huge sum to drop on a monitor but I built a new system and I feel like I'm gimping it with the other monitor choices available. I have 970s in SLI so hopefully 1440p should be achievable.
The only other contender I have is the Acer XB27HA which is 27" and 1080p. I'm worried the DPI may suffer and result in a blurry image. Not to mention the quality of the panel.
