Between Stoke and Gosport, what is there to see?

Hey all, next week I have a wedding shoot I'm helping a buddy out with in Manchester Art Gallery so will be heading out for Stoke a few days before to stay with some family.

I wondered if people could direct me to point of interest that would be interesting for photography on the way? landmarks, buildings...anything really that is ideal for taking pictures of!

I'm armed with a full tank of petrol, a tripod, some glass and a 4ft assistant !

The route I'll be taking is this: Google Local

I'm not looking to detour too far out of this path so primarily looking for landscapes and cities etc that falls within this path.

stafford castle is quite close to the M6, just down from stoke. built quite high up, some nice views from up there - and there are a few ruins left.

yeah there is Stafford castle. got a few shots from there. cannock chase has many places too, just a little further down the m6. thyen there's the roaches over towards manchester
