Beware: AceMagic NUCs ship with malware

As he says in the video, this is not a new story. Months ago this was identified. I wonder if it's just the review units sent around that time.
I've seen 2 or 3 videos on Acemagic PCs since that all touched on the virus issue, and the PCs came back clean.

I'm still more in the GamersNexus camp of thought. Where this type of issue should be a brand-killer.

System was installed on march 5th. the update wasn't made until Merch 29th. You have an old stock SSD image. Why are you blowing this out of proportion?

He does seem very late to the party, and just wanting to get some shock clicks.

Is it though? He had an old unit, with Windows loaded on March 5th.
Feel like maybe just needed to get a video out. Late to the party, and still reporting yesterday's news.

New AceMagic product reviews have shown no positives for Malware.

Just to be clear, I fully agree this is a truly woeful thing to have happened within this company. Short of them folding though, what can they do?
It's time machine stuff to resolve his issue in this video.

Yup agree with above, when everything is up and running most just ride it out.

Just about anything from china though which most mini pcs are, just format and clean windows 11 iso it.

Question on these mini pc such as firebat, beelink etc i know formatting the storage drive is mandatory but how about the firmware? Does it require re-flashing to be 100% sure of no malware?
