** BEWARE OF THE DEVIL!! **

I have to question the need for FOUR 8 pin connectors, think they went a bit overboard on that front to say the least. Also im seriously doubting those fans are in anyway quiet, they weren't that quiet on their version of the 7990 devil 13 and that ran far cooler than this will.

2 months wages on a graphics card that's going to depreciate by 75% in three years isn't most peoples idea of good value.

Also £1140 = 2 months wages? That's a £9k/year job

no.....that's what's left after i've paid for everything else in life.....obviously :p

getting back on track, if you want a good 4K rig then you have no choice, but if you build the rig over a year then you dont notice the money so much, my Rig took a year to build.

but i agree the Card is a real worry, because it's still loads of money, the problem is they can get a 400 quid card to run at 4k...60fps on Crysis 3.... the technology isn't there yet, so we have to buy 2 or 3 cards

Thanks mike interesting review, i aint played with 290's much as the couple i had went into friends builds,so what stopped them setting clocks higher like users do for 290's?

The reference 295x2 is clocked slightly higher so this is not the worlds fastest card, it's the second.

it's detuned to prevent the chips overheating, but it's only about 4fps slower, it's a great card but it has one massive drawback, it weighs 5.2 lbs :eek:

because even with an endpost support; that's still way too heavy for the Mobo, especially if you intend to transport the pc often.

forget the price.... it's the weight

that needs to be inside a custom made HTPC case.

The reference card is 18MHz faster on the core and 400MHz slower on the RAM, overall I would have thought the Devil would be faster.

It is faster, we have seen the benchmarks against reference 295 X2. :)

Memory speed is more important than core on these dual GPU cards, they are crying out for bandwidth.

Are there any reviews floating around of this card?

Tri slot air cooler, Titan Z competing performance, half the price.

Hmmmmm...

It does need 10,000 power connectors though. :p

e; only 250 being produced?

Never read the review then lads....

It is a rare specimen which has an outstanding design and it claimed the mantle as today’s most powerful graphics card. Bragging rights never looked so good.

:p
